Datashaker sits in front of your accounting, not in place of it: it collects the documents, reads them, prepares the entries and writes them into the program you already use. The chart of accounts is yours, and whoever keeps the books carries on working where they always have.

Supplier invoices, receipts and bank transactions reach Datashaker, which reads them, classifies them and writes the entries straight into bexio. You open bexio and the bookkeeping is already there: what is left for you are the doubtful cases to confirm.

At the end of the day nobody retypes the outlet's till closing: Datashaker takes the takings from Lightspeed, turns them into entries and writes them into bexio. Cash, cards and VAT rates each in their place.

EBICS by Datashaker

EBICS is the official channel through which Swiss banks deliver transactions to business systems. Datashaker speaks it: the statement arrives on its own, every day, and reconciliation starts without anyone downloading a file from e-banking.

How it works

Banks

It works with your bank.

The connection is EBICS, not a robot logging into your e-banking on your behalf: it is the channel the bank itself provides, authorised by the bank and signed with your own keys. It applies to every Swiss institution that offers EBICS to business clients.

What arrives are the transactions in camt format — date, amount, counterparty and reference, already readable. That is why reconciliation can start by itself.
