Not another program to learn.
Datashaker sits between your documents and the accounting software you already use. It collects, reads, matches. You change nothing.
First of all, what we don't ask of you.
It doesn't replace your accounting.
bexio or Banana stay where they are, with the accounts you already have. Datashaker doesn't touch your chart of accounts: it feeds clean material into it.
It doesn't ask you to migrate.
No data transfer, no history to rebuild, no weekend spent tidying up master records.
It doesn't ask you to learn.
You keep sending documents the way you send them today. If today you forward an invoice by email, tomorrow you forward an invoice by email.
Datashaker doesn't take anyone's place. It takes a place that today sits empty — and that you fill by hand, every month-end.
The missing piece.
On one side there are the documents: purchase invoices, receipts, expense claims, supporting documents arriving from ten different directions. On the other there's the bank, with money moving in and out every day.
In between sits work no software does for you: figuring out which document matches which movement, what has already been paid and what hasn't, and what needs posting — once only.
That work in the middle is what you do on a Sunday evening, or what you pay for by the hour. Datashaker takes it over.
Four jobs, nothing asked of you.
It collects the supporting documents.
A dedicated mailbox, upload from the browser, scanner, WhatsApp. The photo of a receipt taken on your way out of the restaurant is already in the system before you're back in the car. No folder to keep tidy, no envelope to hold on to.
It pulls in the bank movements.
Via CAMT or EBICS, automatically, straight from the bank. No statements to download by hand, no CSV to clean up.
It matches document to movement.
It reads the document, recognises the amount, date and supplier, and links it to the corresponding bank movement. The connection you used to make by eye, made for you.
It knows what's paid and what's still open.
A paid cost is closed and goes into the accounts. A cost still open goes to your software as payable — and when the payment goes out, Datashaker notices and closes it on its own.
There's one rule: wait.
An invoice received is not a franc spent. It's the most common confusion, and it's why in so many systems the same cost ends up posted twice: once when the document arrives, once when the payment leaves.
Datashaker holds the document waiting until the bank movement arrives. When it does, the two close together. Once only.
It isn't a feature: it's the way it's built.
The work was always there. You were just the one doing it.
Documents in three different places: the inbox, your wallet, your phone.
The bank statement to download.
Month-end spent reconstructing what was what.
Or all of it handed to a fiduciary, who does the job well — but does it by the hour, and the hours are on you.
Documents arrive where they belong the moment they exist.
Bank movements come in on their own.
The matching is already done by the time you look.
What's left for you is the part that actually counts: looking at the numbers and deciding.
It works while you're not watching.
No notifications to clear, no dashboard to man, no extra window open all day. Datashaker sits underneath and keeps the paperwork in order — like a meticulous partner who never asks you for anything.
Twenty minutes, on your real case. We'll show you the first document going in.
