Datashaker comes out of a frustration anyone in business knows: hours lost to paperwork that creates no value, complexity growing a little more every year, decisions made by guesswork because the numbers arrive late or unclear, financial and strategic problems always tackled after the fact — reactive, almost never ahead of things. The founders lived it first-hand, from business owners for business owners: eighteen years of restaurants and hotels, evenings closing the books after service, weekends lost to VAT. Years of it, not a season. Out of that grind they decided to build the tool they were looking for themselves: one that takes the administrative work off the table and puts in its place clarity on the numbers and a precise direction on what to do — targeted, timely, always current.
